As If

Seems Monday's rearing its head again, so I'll just keep to myself for the most part. Got a 93 on my English test. Not too shabby. I did worse on the identification part, but better on the essay part, but worse overall. Blech. An A though. Course, I have a civilization test tomorrow that I'm really dreading. Ugh. Went over my 2nd manuscript in fiction. Got reamed, not surprised. Was really nervous because I knew it was awful. Oh well. That's what I get for not writing it all at once. Among other things.

One funny thing, though, was that someone marked on the first page "Fragment" on a sentence that started with "As if" -- it was a thought for the POV character. My response? "As if I give a shit." It's a fucking thought. We're not talking Ye Olde proper English, and I don't know about the rest of you folks, but I sometimes think in fragments. Oh well. Disappointing. Expected disappointment is no difference.
